Tirupati Balaji has been actively involved into providing for various social activities and other activities too. It is running an institute that is providing various facilities and medical treatment facilities to physically handicapped people. These people are ones who are suffering from the congenital anomalies, cerebral palsy, polio mellitus, spinal injuries and especially the poor people. These people are served irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. It has also established Sri Venateswara poor hospital. This is one of the largest hospitals and is providing for all the medical needs of poor people.

Tirupati Balaji Religious Activities

Tirupati Balaji supplies statues of Panchola Vigrahams and stone at competitive rates to various other temples. If the temples are dedicated to the Lord Venkateswara, then TTD will be supplying with stone statues of Sri Padmavathi and Sri Venkateswara.

• These are supplied according to the specifications of height. The height of Vigrahams should never be exceeding 5 feet.
• These statues are supplied free and the certificates of productions as well as recommendations are taken from the various authorities of Endowments Department.
• The authority should be an Assistant Commissioner. Panchola and stone statues of different gods and goddesses are also supplied by the TTD.
• These are supplied at a subsidy of less than or equivalent to fifty percent. TTD will also provide you with temple umbrellas and microphone sets at a subsidy of fifty percent.
• This microphone set will be including 2 speakers, amplifier, audio cassettes and a tape recorder too.

Tirupati Balaji Educational Activities

• In 1876, an educational institution was set up by the temple administration of Tirupati.
• The administration was school was controlled by the Hathiramjee Mutt.
• This educational institution was named as Hindu High School.
• This educational institution was established in Vellore. In 1886, an educational institution with the same name was established in Tirupati.
• When both the educational institutions came into existence, then both of their names were changed and were re-named as SV high school.
• Currently, TTD is running degree colleges, high schools and junior colleges for girls and boys.
• It is also having a degree college in Delhi.
• In order to popularize and propagate various ancient languages and Sanskrit Language, it has established Oriental Sri Venateswara High school as well as Sri Venateswara Oriental College.
• These are established at Tirupati and SVVVS College has been established at Hyderabad.
